ABSTRACT A great challenge of scientific research with carrot in semi-arid regions is obtaining the best productive characteristics and economic conditions by optimizing green manure amounts using spontaneous species from Caatinga biome, such as hairy woodrose (Merremia aegyptia L.) roostertree (Calotropis procera Ait.). Therefore, this work aimed to agronomically economically optimize production roots monocropping their components when fertilized equitable biomass these two cropping seasons a environment. The experimental design was randomized complete block design, five treatments replications. consisted 16, 29, 42, 55, 68 t ha-1 on dry basis. In each experiment, an additional treatment without fertilizer (absolute control) planted for comparison other determine maximum physical efficiency. Carrot fertilization performed incorporation 48.87 M. C. into soil obtain optimized efficiency (commercial productivity). agroeconomic (net income) cultivation obtained 49.64 added soil. use biome viable technology tuberose producers semiarid environments.
